78th UOL Convention Tampa Florida
To recap our situation:
- The original venue we booked for our convention was supposed to re-open in May, after hurricane damages were repaired. Unfortunately, that did not happen and we have had no contact from the hotel.
- Fortunately, we booked a NEW hotel. We have a contract with the Westshore Grand (westshoregrand.com) in Tampa, Florida.
- Our room rate is $139/night for single or double. The room rates apply for 2 days before and 2 days after our Convention
- The Westshore Grand is only 3 miles from Tampa International Airport and offers a shuttle. It is 5 miles to Downtown Tampa, and 15 miles to the beaches.
- They offer Marriot points, free Wifi, complimentary parking (should you choose to rent a car), and it has a pool on the 9th floor.
- The hotel has Hotel Dining and is within walking distance of PFChangs, Maggianos, Seasons 52, Besito Mexican, Panera Bread, Fresh Kitchen, and Starbucks.
- All other convention plans remain unchanged.
